CHANGING WAFFLE BAKER GRIDS
TOOLS REQUIRED – 11/16 OPEN END WRENCH, 5 MM ALLEN KEY & CARDBOARD TUBING

- Unplug the baker from the power outlet and let baker sit until it is cool to the touch.
- Place cardboard tubing under headset then use the wrench provided by Waffle World to remove the handle from the used top grid. Then put the lock washer in front of the nut on the end of the handle and screw it into the new top grid.
- Use the Allen key provided by Waffle World to remove the bolt and washer until the grid separates from headset.
- Holding the headset and grids together, turn the headset 180 degrees and place the cardboard tubing under the headset and remove the other bolt and washer until the grid separates from headset, then remove the cardboard tubing.
- Turn the headset 180 degrees and put the cardboard tubing under the headset to stabilize it.
- Open the top of headset and remove both grids.
- DO NOT REMOVE OR UNSCREW ANYTHING ELSE.
- Place the new set of grids making sure the silver bullet is inserted in the hole in the bottom grid with the white paste. DO NOT REMOVE THE WHITE PASTE.
- Close the top of headset and make sure both grids are aligned and sit in u-shaped grid rest.
- Reinsert the top washer & bolt and tighten with the Allen key.
- Holding the headset and grids together, flip the headset and reinsert the bottom washer and bolt then tighten with Allen key.
- With the cardboard tubing still under the headset, use the wrench to tighten handle.
- Remove cardboard tubing and turn headset back to original position. Baker is ready to use.
